One Piece has already entered its Elbaph Arc in anime with a schedule change for the first time since its debut in 1999. The anime has released weekly episodes for over 26 years, but 2026 marked a huge change in the franchise’s history when One Piece adapted a seasonal format. Thanks to the incredible animation quality, the anime is more popular than ever. However, it also puts pressure on the animators as they work to maintain consistency under tight deadlines. In order to ensure better quality without any production issues, Toei Animation announced releasing 26 episodes every year. The schedule will continue for the rest of the Final Saga. Fans were initially divided over the announcement, especially considering that the anime will keep adapting only one episode per chapter.
However, the improved animation quality in Elbaph put rest to any concerns since it has released some of the best episodes fans have ever had. While the episodes were expected to be released into two cours, each having 13 episodes, the new update from @pewpiece on X confirms the full anime schedule for 2026.
One Piece‘s Full Episode Schedule For Elbaph Arc

The anime will be releasing the rest of the 13 episodes simultaneously after the broadcast of a new One Piece Heroines episode on July 5th, 2026. Since the anime has already released Episode 1167, the schedule below is for the remaining episodes for 2026. The release date of Episode 1169 comes from the Fuji TV website, confirming fans won’t have to wait for the second cour of 2026.
- Episode 1168: July 12th, 2026
- Episode 1169: July 19th, 2026
- Episode 1170: July 26th, 2026
- Episode 1171: August 2nd, 2026
- Episode 1172: August 9th, 2026
- Episode 1173: August 16th, 2026
- Episode 1174: August 23rd, 2026
- Episode 1175: August 30th, 2026
- Episode 1176: September 6th, 2026
- Episode 1177: September 13th, 2026
- Episode 1178: September 20th, 2026
- Episode 1179: September 27th, 2026
- Episode 1180: October 4th, 2026
- Episode 1181: October 11th, 2026
- Episode 1182: October 18th, 2026
- Episode 1183: October 25th, 2026
Considering that there aren’t any last-minute changes, this is the schedule for this year’s episodes. Additionally, it’s only the Japanese broadcast and Crunchyroll’s streaming dates since Netflix delays the episodes by one week. The anime will return with 26 episodes in 2027 as well, although a release date hasn’t been confirmed yet. We can expect around the same schedule for next year as well, but nothing can be certain before an official announcement.
What to Expect From One Piece‘s Elbaph Arc

Elbaph is the second arc of the Final Saga, which takes place in the fabled Land of the Giants. The Elbaph Arc was foreshadowed in the Little Garden Arc of the Alabasta Saga when the crew met Dorry and Brogy. They finally arrived at the Giants’ homeland after the chaotic battle in Egghead against the Marines. However, it doesn’t take long for things to go downhill after the appearance of Shamrock and Gunko.
A few more Holy Knights will soon be introduced as they are ready to burn the nation down if it means forcing the Giants to bow to the World Government. Elbaph is by far the most lore-heavy arc in the series as we get one step closer to the truth about the Void Century. It also introduces some key figures from the past, as well as Imu, the main antagonist of the series.
