11 Anime Coming to HIDIVE in June 2026
As the Spring anime season draws near its conclusion, HIDIVE is all set for its anticipated June calendar. June will be yet another exciting month for fans with a new list of series coming to the platform for the first time. As fans prepare for the exciting Summer 2026 anime lineup, HIDIVE confirmed the return of some underrated and forgotten series.
While most of the anime released in every season stream on Crunchyroll, HIDIVE has its own slate of releases for each month. The official website of the platform releases a new schedule each month, which also mentions the shows being removed from the platform.
11) Future Police Urashiman
This beloved 1980s classic began streaming on the platform from June 2nd, 2026. The story centers around Ryo, who has slipped from the 1980s into the future. While trying to return to his time, he began working for the police force and solved numerous cases with his unique approach.
10) Judo Boy
Judo Boy is a 1960s sports anime following Sanshiro Kurenai, the proud heir of a judo dojo. Following the tragic murder of his father, he embarks on a quest to avenge him and track down the mysterious one-eyed murderer. The anime will make its streaming debut on HIDIVE on June 9th.
9) Leave it to Mecha-Doc
Based on a forgotten Weekly Shonen Jump classic, this 1980s anime centers around Jun Kazami, who works at the tuning shop “Mechadoc.” He is exceptionally talented at upgrading regular, non-racing cars to take on his rivals in car races. HIDIVE will begin streaming the anime from June 9th, 2026.
8) Kirio Fan Club
This lighthearted comedy is based on a short manga by Chikyuu no Osakana Pon-chan and made its debut on April 2nd, 2026. HIDIVE will begin streaming the dubbed episodes weekly starting from June 10th. The story follows the daily lives of two high school girls who often talk about a boy in their class, as their relationship juggles between friendship and rivalry.
7) Heavy Metal L-Gaim
Heavy Metal L-Gaim is an original 1980s classic set in the year 3990, where the immortal Oldna Poseidal rules Pentagona, a solar system of five planets riddled with war. The story centers around Daba Myroad, a survivor of the legendary Yaman Clan, as he gets entangled in a rebellion. All the TV episodes and OVAs will be added to the platform on June 16th, 2026.
6) Time Bokan Series: Gyakuten Ippatsuman
This 1980s sci-fi classic is all set for its HIDIVE debut on June 23rd. It’s the sixth installment in the Time Bokan series and released 58 episodes set in the 1990s-era Osteandel City, the headquarters of Time Lease.
5) Time Boken: Royal Revival
Another anime from the Time Bokan series will be added to the platform on June 23rd as well, and this one is a 2-episode-long OVA. It’s a hilarious adventure story focusing on evil versus evil groups of villains face off against each other in a race to be the greatest villains in anime history.
4) Jewel BEM Hunter Lime
This 1990s fantasy is a 3-episode OVA that will begin streaming from June 23rd, 2026. The story is set in a world where magic and human worlds have lived in peace while being separated by a magical gate. However, when the powerful magic spheres are stolen and land on Earth, those from the world of magic have no choice but to enter humans’ domain and retrieve them.
3) The Life of Budori Gusuko
The award-winning anime film centers around a young man named Budori Gusuko in the Tohoku forests of northeastern Japan in the 1920s. The film follows his journey as he is forced to leave his home and search for a place after an onslaught of droughts and natural disasters. HIDIVE will begin streaming this underrated film on June 23rd, 2026.
2) Yowayowa Sensei
This ecchi anime made its debut on April 11th, 2026, and the English dub will begin streaming weekly from June 24th. The story centers around Abikura, who learns that his homeroom teacher in the new term is Hiyori Hiwamura, known as the Scary-Scary Sensei, who is rumored to curse anyone who crosses her. However, it doesn’t take long for him to discover that there’s more to her than meets the eye.
1) Paul’s Miraculous Adventures
This 1970s classic fantasy centers around Paul, a young boy, who embarks on a quest to save his friend Nina from Belt Satan, the demonic ruler of another world. The anime has released 50 episodes, all of which will be added to the platform on June 30th.
