2025 has been a banner year for comics, and at the center of that new wave is DC’s Absolute Universe. The universe launched alongside DC’s All In initiative and got things started with Scott Snyder, Nick Dragotta, Gabriel Hernandez Walta, and Frank Martin’s Absolute Batman, and the series has been one of the top-selling titles in comics ever since. Now the very first Absolute Batman figure has arrived, and it’s as insane and absurdly cool as you were hoping it would be.
While there are several Absolute Batman figures in development, the first one to actually make its official debut and go up for pre-order is from the talented team at Hot Toys, and they absolutely went for it in all aspects. The figure stands at 37 centimeters tall and features a host of interchangeable options and accessories that make it feel as if Absolute Batman stepped right out of the comics.
Hot Toys’ Absolute Batman Is A Comic Fan’s Dream

If you wanted to see the character brought to life authentically, Hot Toys really outdid itself here, as even just the base figure with no other additions feels just about perfect. It only gets better when you start to customize the figure to be the version you love most from the comics, and Hot Toys gives you plenty of ways to make that possible.

The figure comes with three swappable portraits with three unique expressions, and there are also several swappable hands that can be used to hold Batman’s trademark Bat-Axe or heavy-duty shotgun. If you opt for the Bat-Axe, you can remove the magnetic Bat-Symbol from his chest and pair it with either a short handle or a long handle.
Those aren’t his only weapons, either, as just like in the comics, you can detach his bat ears and wield them as blades. You can also opt for either short spikes for a cleaner look or long spikes for a fighting pose, and that brings us to the cape. The cape is fully wired and is in Bat-Wings style from the comics, which means you can recreate a host of fight sequences from the comics and have your Absolute Batman looking like a one-man army.

The Collector Edition Absolute Batman figure is available now on Sideshow for $385, but there is a Special Edition figure with one key bonus. The Special Edition figure comes with everything in the Collector Edition and an added stealthy cape, which is a wire-embedded cape with separated tethers and a shawl to create the stealthy appearance. The Special Edition retails for $400. Both the Collector Edition and Special Edition are up for pre-order now and are expected to ship between October 2026 and March 2027.
