An EA AAA game from 2023 that normally costs $60 to purchase is currently 90% off, which means it is available for just $6. This is the lowest price the EA game, a first-person shooter, has ever been since its release on August 22, 2023. And it is rare for Electronic Arts to discount its games beyond 90% so it is unlikely the title will ever be cheaper than this. That said, those interested only have until September to trigger this deal for Immortals of Aveum.
The hefty discount comes the way of Steam, and right now this is the only place where this deal can be found. There are similar offers elsewhere though. The PS5 version, for example, is currently 85% on the PlayStation Store. Meanwhile, those on Xbox looking to save some money will have to buy a copy via Best Buy, where the game is 71% off. In the case of the former, this means PS5 users only have to pay $10.49, while Xbox Series X users can score the EA game for $19.99.
Deluxe Edition Offer
Steam also has the same deal for the Deluxe Edition of the game, which normally costs $70, but is now only $7 thanks to the same 90% discount. The Deluxe Edition comes with the “Ancient Relics of Aveum Pack,” which features nine different in-game items that are exclusive to the pack. The deal for the Deluxe Edition is also available until September 25.
An Underrated First-Person Shooter
On Steam, Immortals of Aveum only has a 73% approval rating, which isn’t the greatest score. However, if you read most of the user reviews, they simply say the game isn’t worth the full asking price, and right now it is not full asking price. To this end, the most popular Steam user review says “fun game, graphics are cool, get on discount.” Whether Immortals of Aveum is worth $60 has been debated by those who have reviewed it, but at $6 it is a complete steal. In particular, if you like magic combat — which not many games offer — this is where Immortals of Aveum shines. Beyond this, it boasts a AAA presentation, but a mediocre narrative. This isn’t that unique in the first-person shooter space, but what is unique is the game’s first-person magical combat.
