Launched in 2017, the streaming platform Crunchyroll has risen through the ranks to become the biggest hub for anime fans worldwide. Naturally, this means that a large plethora of anime series can be found on the platform, including new ones that are being released every week. Each quarter, the streaming platform releases a new list of anime line-ups and shares the release dates of its subbed and dubbed versions. Since a large number of anime end up on this platform, fans often rely on it to search for and watch more and more shows. On top of having an expansive anime library, the platform streams weekly episodes of almost all the series throughout the year.
Following the massive success of the streaming platform, it also launched a new app called Crunchyroll Manga last year. The app is available on iOS and Android in the US and Canada, with the web version following less than a week after its launch. Crunchyroll Manga aims to localize more manga series for readers, including those from major publishers such as Kodansha and Shueisha. The subscription is available as an add-on to existing tiers or included at no extra cost for Ultimate Fan subscribers. The official website of Crunchyroll revealed a new lineup for May 18th, 2026, which includes a variety of titles, including worldwide hits such as Attack on Titan and Fire Force.

Attack on Titan is easily the most famous title on the list, and the new lineup will also bring the underrated spinoff manga, which was released in 2013. Illustrated by Satoshi Shiki, Attack on Titan: Before the Fall is based on a light novel written by Ryou Suzukaze. It’s set before the beginning of the main story, following new characters that were never introduced in the manga by Isayama.
Along with other famous titles such as Fire Force and Parasyte, the new lineup also includes underrated works such as Nodame Cantabile and DAYS, which never gained the recognition they deserve, even years after their anime was released. The official website also shares a full list of the series available to read on the platform. The endless plethora of exciting series includes beloved stories such as One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, The Apothecary Diaries, and many more. Since the app is fairly new, it’s available in select regions only and might expand more in the coming years.
